In recent years Kenya’s healthcare system has seen dramatic improvements.
The Kenyan healthcare system can be divided into three categories; public providers, private non-profit organisations (including faith based and mission hospitals as well as local and international NGO’s) and private for profit health care providers.
Government oversight of the healthcare system is provided through regulation, implemented through the following regulatory agencies:
